Literature And Videos

Hello to all my clients, This page is of my favorite videos and links. It conveys my interest and practices as a Holistic Goldendoodle Breeder. Everything you will read here is what we practice daily when raising our dogs and our precious Goldendoodle puppies. We do everything to a T and are very meticulous in doing so. We believe our Goldendoodles deserve the best of care, and therefore we stick to “All Natural” puppy raising and continuous superior care of our adult Goldendoodles. Please try to read every article and watch every video possible so you can have a good insight on how to raise a healthy puppy for life.

These puppies are grown up – sold and belong to the Amick family. Aren’t they gorgeous? We produce amazing puppies!

Our Goldendoodle Puppies

We raise our Goldendoodles in the most natural way possible.
From vaccinations, to feeding and worming.

Our Goldendoodle puppies receive only CORE vaccines as recommended.

Feeding:

we feed all of our dogs a raw meat diet as nature intended. This is the most beneficial diet one can feed their dog. Our puppies and adult dogs are never sick, their immune system is at its peak even when they advance in age. Do not be afraid to offer your dog a diet that they were meant to have. There is little that gives me pleasure when I raise dogs than to see them eating like wolves do in the wild. Canines are meant to eat this way and most deprive them of this wonderful and natural diet.

We also wean our puppies with cooked and raw meat and they absolutely thrive. We encourage all our clients to do the same but few have the “courage” to do so unfortunately, and most don’t research it enough to do it right. Most people are so brainwashed by commercials on dog food and what they see in pet stores and what a vet advises as a good diet, that they never stop to think if it is what their dog should really eat. A well educated vet that is holistic, will be supporting this diet 100%.

Food for thought Article BAD GENES?

One of the most harmful vaccine to your dog’s joint is
the Canine Distemper vaccine- many times even one can cause damage.

Here’s something to think about:

Rats carry the Lepto virus and you don’t see humans being vaccinated against Lepto and yet the human population is not beset with a Lepto outbreak. So why are vets pushing this vaccine on dogs? Should you give in, just to have a good relationship with your vet? A few years back the “annual distemper/parvo” vaccine was debunked by vaccine researchers and veterinary immunologists as being harmful to pets, so you might wonder if this is a business strategy to generate more business for vet hospitals….

Annual Vaccines? NEVER!

Annual Vaccines? NEVER! Here’s a quote, from Dr. Ronald Schultz and Tom Phillips, DVM, that appeared in Current Veterinary Therapy XI in 1992 (Dr’s. Schultz and Phillips are respected veterinary immunologists in the academic community): A practice that was started many years ago and that lacks scientific validity or verification is annual revaccinations. Almost without exception there is no immunologic requirement for annual revaccination. Immunity to viruses persists for years or for the life of the animal. Successful vaccination to most bacterial pathogens produces an immunologic memory that remains for years, allowing an animal to develop a protective anamnestic (secondary) response when exposed to virulent organisms. The practice of annual vaccination in our opinion should be considered of questionable efficacy unless it is used as a mechanism to provide an annual physical examination or is required by law (i.e., certain states require annual revaccination for rabies).source: http://www.saveadog.org/blog/index.php/2019/05/16/vaccinate-or-not/

None core vaccines

This means that they are supposed to be given in special conditions and circumstances only- or not at all.

The most harmful non core vaccine is the Leptospirosis vaccine (which if given will also void your health warranty with us)
quoted:

Leptospirosis vaccine: This vaccine does not protect your dog against contracting Leptospirosis because there are over 253 strains of lepto — vaccines protect against only three or four. As well, that vaccination does not prevent infection, but rather lessens the severity. Lepto vaccination also does not stop shedding of bacteria in the urine, meaning it doesn’t protect humans.

Most importantly, of all the bacterin vaccines, Leptospirosis causes the most adverse reactions.
The American Animal Hospital Association Guidelines for vets places Leptospirosis in their ‘non-core’ (optional) category, with special mention of its high incidence of post- vaccination reactions and advises that, “Annual boosters are not routinely recommended for all dogs. Vaccination should be restricted to use in areas where a reasonable risk of exposure has been established.”

“Leptospirosis (Lepto), as added to the DAPP (distemper/parvo) vaccine, is very dangerous as it has the most adverse side effects of any other vaccine, including kidney failure. See http://www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com/read-this-before-you-vaccinate-for-lepto/ for details on this dangerous vaccine.”
